Welcome

Welcome! My name is Dana Knapp, and I am excited to teach Middle School English Language Arts and 6th Grade Science this year. With 14 years of teaching experience, my primary goal is to foster an engaging, hands-on learning environment where students feel empowered to think critically, express themselves clearly, and explore the natural world. Whether we are diving into literature, sharpening strategic reading skills, or conducting science experiments, I strive to make learning active and accessible for every student.

Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with my husband of 25 years, our three children, Aubrey, Alison, and Amery, and our family pets, as well as working on creative DIY crafts. I look forward to partnering with our students and families for a fantastic school year!
