Welcome! I am Daniel Carroll, and I am a Corporal with the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office. My career with the sheriff’s office started in 2011 as a dispatcher. In 2014, I came on as a reserve deputy sheriff, volunteering in my off time from dispatch. In 2020, I moved over to being a full-time deputy sheriff, assigned to the Transport Division. After some time in that division, I requested to move over to the School Resource Officer (SRO) Division, and my transfer request was approved. I moved over to the SRO Division in September of 2023 and was assigned to Central High Public Schools.
I love my position as an SRO, and am truly blessed to be able to serve my community in this capacity. I loved this assignment so much, that I started focusing all of my continuing edcuation courses on classes that would expand my knowledge and abilities specific to my assignment. I completed an intensive 80-hour DARE Officer Training course in July of 2025, which affords me the opportunity to teach kids about how to make healthy and responsible decisions. I was one of the first graduates of the Oklahoma School Safety Institutes 1st Inaugural SRO Academy held at the Department of Public Safety’s Training Center in Oklahoma City. I’m also an instructor in the Standard Response Protocol and Standard Reunification Method from the iloveuguys foundation, an instructor in Law Enforcement Active Shooter Emergency Response (LASER), and working on getting my instructor certification for Handle With Care (HWC).
I am dedicated to fostering good positive relations with students, teaching them methods to live safe and healthy lives, and protecting them at any cost. I am honored to be able to serve my community as a School Resource Officer in Stephens County. If you ever have questions or concerns, please reach out to me!
