I have been teaching at Central High School since August of 2003. I have taught 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 6th grade.
I began my teaching career in Burkburnett, TX where I taught 2nd grade at Hardin Elementary for 3 years. I was a full time Certified Substitute and Teacher’s Assistant at Hinton Elementary in Hinton, Oklahoma for 1 year prior to moving back home to Central High in 2003.
My husband, Ramey, and I were married in June 2002 in Hinton, Ok. We have 2 daughters. Carson is a 17 year old Junior and Chandler is a 14 year old Freshman. We live on our family farm with our 2 dogs, Si and Sage. I am a proud aunt to my 2 nephews and 2 nieces. I also have a 2 great-nephews and a great-niece.
Like most parents, we are busy with our girls’ activities. We spend a great deal of time at cattle shows and watching our girls cheer at ballgames. The girls are heavily involved in 4-H and I am an active 4-H volunteer. Chandler loves to be on stage and we enjoy watching her in various drama performances. Carson enjoys volunteer work and we love to help her with community service projects. I love to bake and I enjoy baking items for school fundraisers. I have been a volunteer for the Stephens County Free Fair Pageant for the past 19 years, serving as director for 16 years.
