CHS Middle School Students Do Well at the Duncan Regional Engineering CO2 Car Contest

Central High 7th and 8th grade students participated in the Duncan Regional Engineering Contest with CO2 cars. The students designed, built and finished their cars. Everyone did a great job on their projects. Out of 56 entries Ambrielle Lopez, Kelan Ellis-McFarland, Beau Klein, Wyatt Nix, London Smallwood and Tyller Mitchell made the "Sweet 16", Kelan Ellis-McFarland, Ambrielle Lopez and Beau Klein made the "Great 8" and Kelan placed 3rd overall in Design and Fastest time and won $200. Great job! Thank you to Mrs. Gatewood and Coach Sparks for helping with the projects and teaching project based physics and engineering.
